The fundamentals of Concealed Carry course is designed to educate the student about the handguns that are best for Concealed Carry, how to carry them safely and securely and how to use them efficiently in the context of a Dynamic Critical Incident. This is a half day course that will expose the student to many of the core principles of the Intuitive Defensive® Shooting Program.
This Course will provide the student with an understanding of true armed home defense training with a defensive firearm. The Fundamentals of Home Defense Handguns course topics include:
- Firearm Recommendations
- Calling 911, what to say and do
- Intuitive Defensive Shooting Basics
- Defensive Accuracy
- Balance of Speed and Precision
- The Body’s Natural Reactions
- Training methodologies to continue developing your skills
- and additional concepts as time allows
This Course will provide the student with an understanding of true armed home defense training with a defensive firearm, base level defensive shooting skills and a training methodology for continuing to develop those skills.
What do I need to bring?
- Defensive Pistol
- Holster (optional, but helpful)
- Snacks and Drinks
- 2-3 spare magazines for your handgun
- 200 rounds ammunition
- Eye and ear protection
- Weather appropriate clothing
Our Cancellation Policy at Get Trained Be Ready is as follows:
Our policy is that all payments are non-refundable, but if a student is unable to attend and advises us prior to the day of the class that he or she is unable to attend, we will retain the payment on their behalf for a period of one year from the date of the class as a credit towards any class that we teach in an amount equal to their payment.
However, we limit all class sizes. If you want to attend a later class and notify us after that class is already full, then you will have to wait for another class.
