What to bring everyday:
- Classroom note taking materials
- Lunch, snacks, and drinks
What to bring on Range Days:
- Lunch, snacks, and plenty of water
- Defensive Pistol
- Backup gun (optional)
- If your magazines hold less than 10 rounds, bring 5 magazines. If your magazines hold more than 10 rounds, bring at least 3 magazines.
- Strong side hip or appendix holster that is made for your specific handgun ONLY (quality kydex, or a similar type where the top of the holster remains open when the gun is drawn). No soft holsters.
- MINIMUM of 650 rounds practice ammunition (can be provided)
- Eye and ear protection
- Weather appropriate clothing
- Gear that can withstand rigorous use. We will be spending a lot of time coming out of, and going back to, the holster

- Good attitude
- Lunch, snacks, and drinks
- Note taking materials
- Comfortable clothing: long sleeves, long pants, wear a belt, shoes that allow active movement, and a hoodie or other relatively thick protective clothing (protective headgear provided), gloves - optional
