This course enhances user skills in low light environments, focusing on weapon system deployment and tactical techniques through theoretical and practical training. *This qualifies you for the Alumni class on September 20th.*

• Understand eye anatomy to optimize low light vision
• Improve weapon system deployment in low light
• Learn effective handheld flashlight search techniques
• Acquire safe low light contact protocols
• Use light as a distraction device strategically
• Perform low light firearm handling (loading, unloading, reloading)
• Recognize maximum effective light ranges in low light conditions
• Equips defenders for confident, effective performance in low light scenarios
• *Optional* Operation of weapon-mounted lights proficiently

What do I need to bring?

Required items:

• Supper, snacks, and plenty of water
• Defensive Pistol
• Backup gun (optional)
• 3 double stack or 5 single stack magazines
• Handheld light that can be easily operated with only one hand
• Headlight with a red LED light option
• Spare batteries
• Strong side hip or appendix holster (quality kydex, or a similar type where the top of the holster remains open)
• 500 rounds ammunition (we can have it provided day of class if you need it at market prices, but we need to know ahead of time)
• Eye and ear protection - Electronic Ear Protection STRONGLY recommended
• Weather appropriate clothing
• Gear that can withstand rigorous use. We will be spending a lot of time coming out of, and going back to, the holster.

Our Cancellation Policy at Get Trained Be Ready is as follows:

Our policy is that all payments are non-refundable, but if a student is unable to attend and advises us prior to the day of the class that he or she is unable to attend, we will retain the payment on their behalf for a period of one year from the date of the class as a credit towards any class that we teach in an amount equal to their payment.

However, we limit all class sizes. If you want to attend a later class and notify us after that class is already full, then you will have to wait for another class.
